• Can observe in the sterile field but cannot come in contact with the patient
• Does not drape screen but involved with planning on UKA and TKA
• UKA – old oxford user transitioned to Navio and is ecstatic about results. Cases are under 50 minutes and getting faster every time (he does more TKA). Efficient. Recon rep plans but he is very involved in planning. Big strength: he can speak vs Oxford.
• TKA: places pins in metaphysis on femur. Distal burs. Efficient but also didactic. Has not been using a tourniquet which has increased his times slightly. Lets rep plan while he cuts patella and then he reviews plan. Case times: 40-50 minutes
